Techplas started life as Technical Plastics in 1994 and the name was shortened when the business was incorporated in 1998. Our Managing Director can claim 28 years experience in the industry.
Specialists in impossible mouldings, we are able to apply our considerable experience to a wide range of our client's ideas. We do of course manufacture a diverse range of products for a wide ranging customer base and our expertise plays a vital part in everything we manufacture, be it impossible or straightforward.
Although we remain by some standards a small business, this is by design. Our customers enjoy the best of both worlds, that elusive competitive one to one service that you only get with a small company backed up with big company facilities that give our customers the confidence that we'll get the job done.
We have 4 large bed forming machines including an inline brand new CNC packaging machine a brand new custom built twin heater CNC forming machine. Another investment is our brand new Pacer large bed CNC router. We have dedicated prototyping machine, drying facilities for hygroscopic materials, ionised air supply for dust free mouldings, roller presses, beam press, clicker press, fly press, several fixed head router stations, vertical & horizontal band saws, full size saw table, hot gas welding, ultrasonic welding, solvent welding, mineral and flame polishing, hot wire bending, a plethora of drilling machines, in house waste granulation, silk screen printing, full assembly & packaging facilities including coding logistics for global delivery schedules, in-house tooling design and manufacture using in house CAD systems, integrated electronics design, manufacture and assembly, wiring facilities to CE standards.....etc...etc...etc.
Accreditation to ISO900/ ISO 2000 was obtained in 1997, and we have built up a reliable and quality conscious workforce, the management team strive to ensure that the company satisfies it's customer's requirements and will continue to do so in the future.
